During Mrs. Burkett's career prep/life skills class, students made their own shoes and are learning how to tie them with the help of their high school helpers and other students in class.
Mrs. Grahams' sixth grade social studies classes worked in small groups to build structures from straws. The catch was they had to build it using a specific type of government style. Example: Dictatorship, Monarchy, Democracy,

Nevaeh Irvin is the daughter of Anthony and Tracy. She is currently a junior at Thrall High.
Nevaeh is involved in: volleyball, STUCO, basketball, track, FCA, and Practically Purple.
When asked what her favorite part of being involved with Practically Purple is... she stated.."getting to express my creativity."
We have loved seeing her turn ideas into great products!
After graduating high school, Nevaeh would like to play a sport at the collegiate level.

This morning our Special Olympics Flag Football teams traveled to St Gabriel's Catholic School in Austin to compete. Thrall brought home some hardware! Great job athletes!

Thrall ISD will serve a bounty of healthy lunches that provide students with the energy and nutrition they need for their adventures at sea or on land.
