Since 2021, approximately 160,000 Texas students and their families have benefited from the Parent-Directed Special Education Services (PDSES) program (formerly the Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) program), which grants $1,500 online accounts to families so they can purchase educational goods and/or services for their student, .
Every student who is enrolled and served through special education, and who has not already received a PDSES/SSES grant is eligible for this program.
