spot light

TISD is proud to recognize staff members who have gone above and beyond what is required of them each six weeks during the school year. TCEF has donated funds to Thrall ISD so these well deserving staff members can add to their Tiger Gear collection, and Practically Purple has also created special plaques to recognize their great contribution.

Congratulations to the following staff members:

Thrall Elementary School: Erin Koehne

Thrall Middle School: Amber Beckermann

Thrall High School: Stacy Shaw

Thrall ISD: Abigail Gola

Elementary School: Erin Koehne
The Elementary spotlight is on Erin Koehne! She teaches 2nd grade math, and her data is a testament to her knowledge and expertise! Our 2nd grade Tigers have shown incredible growth this year! Mrs. Koehne uses the NWEA Map and IXL data to differentiate student groups and activities. We are so impressed with her lesson planning, her instruction and the relationships that she builds with students and her team. We are grateful for the math foundation that she is building with our 2nd graders, and we thank her for the math success that our students will continue to experience for years to come.  –Sherri Maruska, Elementary School Principal

Middle School: Amber Beckermann
Amber Beckermann is Thrall Middle School's Staff Spotlight for the fourth six weeks! Ms. Beckermann is one of our administrative assistants on campus. Troubling shooting is her middle name. There are a plethora of hats she wears working in the front office. Her work ethic and genuine compassion to help anyone is on display through her smile and willingness to do what is necessary to achieve success. We appreciate all that she does for the students and staff of Thrall Middle School.–Kim Luton, Middle School Principal

High School: Stacy Shaw
Stacy Shaw is the High School's staff spotlight for the fourth six weeks; The most important cog in the success of any organization is that of its office personnel. That’s why our spotlight is on Mrs. Shaw. Mrs. Shaw joined the HS campus this year and quickly plunged into our world of organized chaos. Each day she gains more confidence and assumes more responsibilities making her invaluable to our campus. She is poised, professional and extremely competent. She has a get it done attitude and nothing is left unfinished. She does not sacrifice the quality of her work and for that she shines bright and sets the tone for an exceptional campus. When you’re good at what you do, you’re often given more- that has been the case with Mrs. Shaw. – Nicole Tindol, High School Principal

District: Abigail Gola
The District would like to recognize Mrs. Abigail Gola as our fourth six weeks Staff Spotlight. Mrs. Gola wears so many hats but you would never know it because she welcomes you with a smile and helping hand. She has hosted our New Tiger Family Night for families to help share the positive clubs/events that make Thrall ISD the distinguished district that it is. She handles all district wide testing which happens all year long! She recently was accepted into a Texas Tech Doctoral program to expand her knowledge in curriculum and instruction. She exemplifies what it means to be a lifelong learner! Thank you, Mrs. Gola, for always reaching for the stars and helping our district in so many ways.
